Job description

Morgue Technician responsible for the technical operation of the hospital morgue in a manner that is decent, safe, and hygienic. Ensures strict compliance with infection control protocols issued by the Ministry of Health, maintains the chain of custody for the deceased, and manages environmental safety standards in the cold storage room. Receives bodies from clinical departments with verification of double identity cards and documentation of the chain in the morgue record; monitors temperature and humidity and records them according to policies; coordinates final cleaning and disinfection of units and surface elevators using medical disinfection materials; applies Ministry of Health precautions for high-risk bodies such as COVID-19 and MERS; assists law enforcement in identifying bodies and preserving samples when police cases occur; and hands over bodies to families or municipal authorities. Requirements

• Diploma or associate degree; required professional certificates; valid registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS); experience in the field of healthcare; advanced proficiency in Arabic; medium proficiency in English; efficiency in patient documentation; knowledge of procedures; mastery of hygiene practices; excellence; integrity; accountability; cybersecurity; patient-centered care
