the employer announces its need to hire a Project Manager to work in the Eastern Region. Main tasks: project management, procurement, effective communication, problem solving, project scheduling, risk management, stakeholder management, compliance, and at least 15 years of experience. Job Summary: Responsible for the overall planning, implementation, and delivery of ABICON scope of work (piping systems, civil works, and mechanical construction) on assigned EPC projects, ensuring delivery within approved budget, schedule, quality standards and Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements, and managing customer and stakeholder relationships. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lead the entire project implementation of the ABICON scope, from mobilization stage to closure. - Develop and manage the project implementation plan, budget, and master schedule. - Coordination with the client, consultants, subcontractors, and internal departments. - Oversee the construction, quality control, planning, procurement, and HSE management functions within the project. - Chair project progress meetings and provide status reports to senior management and the client. - Manage project risks, changes, and claims in coordination with the Contracts and Commercial team. - Approving plans to mobilize manpower, equipment, and materials. - Ensure compliance with contract terms, specifications, and applicable codes/standards. - Enhance cost control and schedule adherence through the project monitoring team. - Ensure that HSE standards and quality requirements are applied in all site activities. - Support the preparation of offers and tenders for future projects as needed. - Manage project closure, delivery, and documentation of lessons learned. I died Requests: - At least 15 years of experience implementing EPC/construction projects, including at least 5 years in a project management role on industrial or oil and gas projects. - Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical or structural engineering. - PMP certification or equivalent in project management is preferred.
