Senior Commercial Manager

Job description

We are looking for an amazingly talented Senior Commercial Manager to join our team at the employer In this role, you will manage all contract activity for a project of significant size and represent the Company in negotiations of the most complex contractual issues. You will provide strategic direction and leadership for all commercial and contract management activities across the project. You will develop and implement commercial and contract management strategies to achieve project objectives, deliver output in a timely manner, and maximize value. You will review contractors' and clients' change requests, develop and manage all relevant change management documentation, and ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.

Requirements

• Proven track record of managing large-scale projects and delivering within budget and schedule
• minimum of 15 years of experience in commercial management across multiple construction sectors
• extensive knowledge of cost and commercial management principles, procurement processes, and contract management principles
• familiarity with local regulations, industry standards, and best practices
• proficiency in project management software and financial tools
• exceptional communication and leadership skills
• ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and resolve disputes effectively
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying
• professional certification (MRICS) is preferred
• experience in PMCM projects is highly desirable
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
