Cybersecurity Specialist

Job description

The Cybersecurity Specialist role focuses on protecting digital infrastructure. Implement cybersecurity frameworks, conduct risk assessments, and apply security controls. Manage network security, firewalls, endpoint protection, IDS/IPS, and access management. Monitor SOC operations using SIEM solutions. Perform vulnerability assessments, incident response, and remediation tracking. Apply IAM, privileged access management, and data protection. Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST framework, Saudi NCA controls, and PDPL requirements, and cloud security fundamentals. Conduct penetration testing concepts, vulnerability scanning, and security log analysis. Provide strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem‑solving capabilities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, IT, Computer Science or related field
• minimum 3–4 years experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security Operations or IT Security Management
• strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, risk assessments and security controls
• experience with network security, firewalls, endpoint protection, IDS/IPS and access management
• familiarity with SIEM solutions, SOC operations and security monitoring tools
• experience in vulnerability assessments, incident response and remediation tracking
• knowledge of IAM, privileged access management and data protection
• familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework and Saudi NCA controls
• understanding of Saudi PDPL requirements and cloud security fundamentals
• knowledge of penetration testing concepts, vulnerability scanning and security log analysis
• strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication and problem‑solving skills
• certifications such as Security+, CEH, CISSP, CISM or ISO 27001 are an advantage
• knowledge of operating system concepts
• knowledge of cybersecurity principles, data protection and regulatory requirements
