Safety Officer

Job description

The HSE Officer is responsible for implementing and monitoring safety and health standards in establishments according to the regulations and laws issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development. The role requires experience in construction sites and good knowledge of safety procedures and requirements in construction projects. Tasks include risk assessment in the work environment, investigating incidents, and ensuring workers' compliance with personal protective equipment to minimize work injuries. The officer also contributes to promoting a culture of prevention and implementing emergency and evacuation plans within government and private institutions

Requirements

• Experience in construction sites
• good knowledge of safety procedures and requirements in construction projects
• preference for those holding NEBOSH or equivalent
