Financial Planning & Strategy Lead - Academy

Job description

The role leads financial strategy, planning and performance management for educational initiatives. Responsible for annual budget development, tracking strategic initiatives for board reporting, and risk and audit compliance. Provides high-level project management for new initiatives, develops long-range revenue forecasts, and oversees the academy's policy and procedures framework to ensure operational excellence. Reporting & analysis of program performance, cost‑benefit and revenue generation; budgeting collaboration with program managers and central operations; multi‑year revenue forecasting and financial execution monitoring; strategic initiative tracking and regular reporting to senior management; risk and audit observation management; master event calendar creation and management of key HR and finance cycles

Requirements

• bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field
• MBA preferred
• 4+ years experience in financial planning, analysis and strategy
• proven experience leading financial strategy development and implementation
• strong analytical and financial modeling skills

• demonstrated leadership and ability to manage a high‑performing team
• experience with financial software and ERP systems
