Speech Therapist

Job description

Responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech and communication disorders. Conducts assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities, develops individualized treatment plans, provides direct therapy focusing on articulation, fluency, and communication skills. Monitors progress, documents records, adjusts plans as needed, collaborates with healthcare teams, educates clients and families about disorders and therapeutic techniques, and maintains accurate records in compliance with ethical and legal standards

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques and evidence
• based practices
• Excel
• Effective communication
• Compliance
• Master's degree in Speech
• Language Pathology or related field
• Valid licensure or certification in Speech
• Language Pathology
• Experience working with individuals with speech and language disorders (preferred)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
