Job description

the employer, based in the Eastern Province, seeks a workshop operator for heat exchanger and pressure vessel fabrication. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting fabrication drawings, accurate layout, marking, cutting and fit‑up per ASME/API standards, safe operation of workshop tools, compliance with HSE guidelines, reporting discrepancies, and maintaining a clean, organized work area

Requirements

• proficient in Word
• expertise in welding
• knowledge of compliance standards
• 20 years of experience
• experience with reading and interpreting fabrication drawings
• experience with operating welding equipment
• knowledge of ASME/API specifications
• ability to follow HSE guidelines
• ability to coordinate with welders, QC inspectors and engineers
• ability to conduct fit‑up inspections and dimensional checks
• experience operating SAW/Strip Cladding machines
• experience operating Orbital welding machines
