Role Overview: the employer is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Technician to join its team. The role supports mechanical engineering research, equipment and system design, and contributes to production, installation and maintenance activities. Responsibilities: assist in developing new theories and improving existing methods; contribute to comprehensive design and advise on materials and quality standards; support engineering projects and supervise process execution and system installation; prepare schedules and cost estimates for projects; provide support for system maintenance and repairs; follow established health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of practical experience in mechanical engineering or a related technical role
• ability to assist in mechanical engineering research and equipment design
• good understanding of production, installation and maintenance processes
• analytical and problem‑solving skills
• ability to work within a team
• commitment to health, safety and environmental standards
