Safety/Training Supervisor

Job description

Job Summary: Responsible for implementing and monitoring safety procedures on drilling rigs. Conducts safety training, ensures compliance with HSE regulations, and promotes a strong safety culture among rig personnel. Key Responsibilities include conducting routine rig inspections, delivering safety training, identifying hazards, reporting incidents, and recommending corrective actions, leading emergency response drills, and maintaining safety records and training documentation

Requirements

• Diploma/ITI/Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Safety, or related field
• 5+ years experience on oil & gas rigs (offshore/onshore) in HSE roles
• Certified in H2S Safety, Firefighting, Confined Space, PTW, LOTO
• Knowledge of rig operations, drilling equipment, and safety standards (API/OSHA/ISO)
• Strong leadership, training, and communication skills
• Hands-on rig experience with mechanical or lifting operations
• Familiarity with incident reporting software and risk assessment.
