SAP FICO Consultant

Job description

The role involves assessing, designing and implementing SAP FICO solutions based on client requirements. Configuring SAP FICO applications including setting up financial statements, cost centers, profit centers, internal orders and accounts payable/receivable. Collaborating with clients to gather requirements, conduct workshops and deliver training sessions. Supporting data migration activities and ensuring data integrity throughout the implementation process. Performing system testing, user acceptance testing and troubleshooting issues promptly. Working with cross‑functional teams to ensure system integration and alignment with business processes. Providing ongoing support and maintenance for existing implementations and identifying improvement areas

Requirements

• Proficiency in SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling to aid implementation, configuration and optimization of SAP systems
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or previous SAP ERP versions preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
• Minimum 3 years experience in SAP FICO consulting or similar role
• Thorough understanding of financial accounting and controlling processes within SAP
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with clients and cross‑functional teams
• SAP FICO certification is an advantage but not required
• Willingness to travel occasionally for client engagements
