Media & Communications Specialist

Job description

The role aims to develop and execute effective communication strategies to enhance the company’s vision and reputation in the manufacturing and gas sector. Develop and implement customized communication strategies for the manufacturing and gas sector; monitor media channels and extract key information related to gas operations; develop direct communication channels with company media departments and affiliated entities; write high‑level letters and media content; create high‑quality content for press releases, articles, presentations, and digital platforms; manage media relations and represent the company as needed; coordinate the dissemination of information about projects, initiatives, and achievements to relevant stakeholders; monitor media coverage and industry trends to define communication strategies; support the development of internal promotional materials for stakeholder awareness; organize events and participate in industry conferences to promote company initiatives; collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure unified messaging across all communication channels

Requirements

• Proficiency in social media networks
• mastery of Git
• management of social media accounts
• strong understanding of manufacturing and gas industries including regulatory frameworks and market dynamics
• exceptional writing and editing skills with ability to convey complex technical information clearly
• proven experience in media relations management and communication strategy development
• strong communication and networking skills to build relationships with media and industry stakeholders
• ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• familiarity with digital platforms and social media management
• strong analytical skills to evaluate communication effort effectiveness
• fluency in English and Arabic preferred
