HSE Analyst

Job description

the employer is hiring an HSE Analyst for its team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The analyst will collect and interpret health, safety and environmental data, prepare reports, and support HSE program implementation. The role demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and deep knowledge of HSE regulations and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science or related field
• minimum 5 years experience in HSE analysis or similar role within Oil & Energy sector
• thorough knowledge of HSE regulations and compliance
• strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• familiarity with HSE management systems and data analysis software
• proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• HSE certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH preferred
• ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• willingness to travel to various sites
• collect, analyze and interpret data to improve safety, environmental performance and compliance
• conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, compliance reporting, training development and delivery
• support planning, implementation and monitoring of EHS programs and policies
• track quarterly KPIs and PPE acknowledgments
• conduct systematic reviews for regulatory compliance
• ensure accuracy and audit of safety statistics
• track safety, health and environmental audit documents
• coordinate injury prevention strategies with departments
• provide hazard analysis, program customization, training and EHS support
• maintain accident and incident database
• support achievement of EHS targets
• track HSE contract submissions
• organize and track HSE campaigns
• control and manage HSE records and files
• fluent in English
