Maintenance Lead Engineer- Electrical

Job description

Job Description: This role requires someone who can lead the electrical maintenance team and develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs. The person should be able to provide technical support for troubleshooting electrical faults and develop strategies to reduce recurrence. They should also lead electrical maintenance projects and upgrades, ensuring alignment with operational requirements and compliance with safety regulations. Additionally, they should be able to manage the budget and resources effectively and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety or reliability. They should ensure that all electrical maintenance activities comply with industry standards, environmental regulations, and company policies. They should maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, parts inventory, and performance metrics. They should be able to identify and implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance electrical maintenance processes. They should stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and advancements to improve plant reliability and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance within power generation, preferably in combined cycle power plants
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, and protection devices
• Familiarity with maintenance management software (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite
• People Management, Maintenance Management, and developing and promoting a condition-based preventive maintenance culture
