Job description

the employer is a global leader in payments technology, connecting consumers, merchants, financial institutions and government entities across 200+ countries. This role expands the employer's public sector sales strategy in Saudi Arabia, develops prioritized client and solution opportunities, and strengthens relationships with federal, state and local agencies. It identifies partners such as issuers, program managers, processors and fintechs to enhance government solutions. The director creates and executes sales strategies to grow volume, market share and product visibility while meeting corporate objectives. Local use cases are captured for solution roadmaps. The role tracks KPI metrics with the Country Manager, produces comprehensive performance reports, and collaborates with internal teams on government outreach and marketing. Responsibilities include RFP support, market analysis, innovative growth approaches, problem solving, and reporting to the Head of Government Solutions GCC.

Requirements

• 10+ years' experience in government/state-owned enterprise/public sector sales management
• expertise in payments and financial services industry managing complex deals
• broad network in Saudi public administration
• understanding of public sector decision‑making and procurement in Saudi Arabia
• strong business development and consultative sales experience educating stakeholders on the employer capabilities
• experience engaging and lobbying public sector stakeholders
• strong financial acumen and outcome orientation
• ability to negotiate business agreements and enhance relationships
• proven ability to create and deliver presentations to senior stakeholders
• demonstrated ability to implement strategic initiatives efficiently
• impeccable written and oral communication
• specialist public sector payments infrastructure expertise is a plus
• strong collaboration and influence skills across cross‑functional teams.
