Odoo Administrator

Job description

The Odoo Administrator will manage the ERP system for Middle East Mattress Factory in Jeddah. Responsible for access rights, user roles, security protocols and system backups. Configures Manufacturing, Inventory, Purchase, Sales, Accounting and HR modules to match plant workflows. Develops custom Odoo modules using Python, XML and JavaScript. Integrates Odoo with external systems such as e‑commerce platforms, payment gateways and biometric attendance devices. Administers PostgreSQL databases, optimizes queries and resolves performance issues. Provides primary technical support, troubleshooting bugs to minimize downtime. Executes data migration from legacy systems to Odoo. Creates user manuals and delivers training to department heads and end users

Requirements

• proficiency in Python
• proficiency in PostgreSQL
• proficiency in XML
• proficiency in JavaScript
• proficiency in QWeb templates
• deep understanding of Odoo architecture, MVC design patterns and Web Services (REST, XML-RPC)
• hands‑on experience with Linux server administration (Ubuntu/Debian) and hosting environments (Odoo.sh, AWS or local servers)
• strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• experience with manufacturing workflows
• fluent English (written and verbal)
• working knowledge of Arabic a plus
• minimum 5 years experience in Odoo ERP administration and development
