Commercial Director (Cluster)

Job description

As Cluster Commercial Director, I embrace Six Senses’ vision to help people reconnect with themselves, others and the world, and its values of local sensitivity, global sensibility, crafted experiences, emotional hospitality, responsibility, fun and pioneering wellness. I will protect these pillars and their strategic planning for Six Senses Amaala and Six Senses Southern Dunes. Responsibilities include efficient operation of Sales & Marketing across both resorts, strategic collaboration with General Managers to set cohesive commercial goals, maintaining consistency of vision, quality and standards, leading Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management and PR teams, developing and executing commercial strategy, annual sales and marketing plan and revenue budget, setting and monitoring performance targets such as RevPAR, market share and profitability with the Finance Director, building relationships with key accounts and travel partners, representing the resorts at trade shows and events, overseeing pricing, distribution and channel strategy, partnering with the global Six Senses team, and ensuring compliance with legal, statutory, financial, safety and security requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Business Management or related field
• 8-10 years progressive experience in luxury hotel sales and marketing
• at least 3-5 years in a senior commercial or director‑level role
• fluent in English
• Arabic language preferred
• proficiency in leading sales, marketing, revenue management and public relations teams
• experience in developing and executing commercial strategies and annual sales plans
• knowledge of performance metrics such as RevPAR, market share and profitability
• ability to build relationships with key accounts and travel partners
• experience representing the brand at trade shows and industry events
• proficiency in pricing, distribution and channel strategy
• understanding of legal, financial, safety and security requirements.
