PAUT Technician

Job description

We are a world leader in Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC), delivering high‑quality services to help clients meet challenges of quality, safety, environmental protection and social responsibility. The technician performs Automated Ultrasonic Testing (AUT) or Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) and Time‑of‑Flight Diffraction (TOFD) on various jobs and liaises with clients. Prepares scan plans using ES Beam tool, collects site data and interprets results with Tomoview or OMNIPC software. Prepares reports according to client requirements. Operates PAUT machines (Olympus MX2/MX3).

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Bachelor of Science or equivalent
• NDT Level II certification by BINDT (PCN) or CSWIP in PAUT/TOFD
• Minimum 2 years experience in PAUT and/or TOFD
• Knowledge of other advanced NDT methods is an added advantage
• Able to work at height and on site in different industries
• Fluent in spoken and written English
