IT Solution Analyst - Business Solutions (eCommerce & Marketplace)

Job description

The IT Solution Analyst supports the eMarketPlace platform and related digital commerce solutions. Understands business requirements and translates them into scalable technology solutions. Supports solution design and implementation and collaborates with business and technology stakeholders to deliver eCommerce and marketplace capabilities. Analyzes business requirements and converts them into functional and technical solution requirements; supports design, implementation, and enhancement of eMarketPlace and eCommerce solutions; works closely with business stakeholders to understand processes, pain points, and future needs; defines solution approaches aligned with business objectives, enterprise architecture, security, integration, and technology standards; supports implementation and optimization of CommerceTools and other commerce platforms; collaborates with solution architects, developers, product owners, vendors, and business teams throughout the solution lifecycle; analyzes existing systems and processes to identify improvement, automation, and digital transformation opportunities; supports MACH architecture principles (Microservices, API‑first, Cloud‑native, Headless); supports guided buying and digital procurement/customer purchasing journeys; defines and documents requirements for eCatalogue solutions, product information, pricing, availability, and marketplace capabilities; develops functional specifications, user stories, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria; supports integration between marketplace/eCommerce platform and enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, PIM, payment, logistics, identity, and other applications; participates in solution evaluations, technical discussions, proof‑of‑concepts, and vendor assessments; works with development and testing teams to ensure solutions meet business and functional requirements; supports system testing, UAT, defect resolution, deployment, and post‑production stabilization; identifies risks, dependencies, gaps, and opportunities; ensures solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise technology standards; prepares solution documentation and maintains technical and functional artifacts; provides ongoing support and continuous improvement for eMarketPlace and commerce solutions.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in IT business solutions, solution analysis, eCommerce, digital commerce, marketplace, or related domains
• strong experience with eMarketPlace solutions and commerce platforms
• hands‑on or strong functional experience with CommerceTools
• strong understanding of eCommerce and digital commerce architectures
• experience with MACH architecture and modern headless commerce concepts
• experience with guided buying and digital purchasing/procurement journeys
• experience with eCatalogue solutions and product/catalog management
• experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and translating business requirements into technology solutions
