Sales Supervisor

Job description

The role purpose is to supervise all the sales team within the specified division, by monitoring performance, training, coaching, knowledge sharing to ensure that set targets are achieved. The job holder will also support the line-manager in identifying new business opportunities and analyzing current business potentials, competitors, and products. Responsibilities include monitoring, coaching and motivating the sales team, achieving monthly, quarterly and yearly targets, ensuring the latest update availability of products and business solutions, training the team to provide excellent sales revenue, and improving customer management and communication skills. Additionally, it involves developing the business in different market segments, maintaining good yearly business growth, identifying new business opportunities, retaining the existing customer base and expanding the business by opening new accounts, segments, and areas. It also includes analyzing business potentials, competitors and products in the same sector, penetrating new market sectors, positioning the company business and products value based on market and customers’ needs, identifying targeted customers to provide their needs in a timely and efficient way, and analyzing customers' business challenges to offer comprehensive proposals and solutions. Furthermore, it involves understanding the market situation and challenges, determining market segmentation, defining the market trend and needs, identifying competitors' capability, and developing the business in different market segments. Reporting includes monitoring and generating daily/weekly and monthly reports for each sales member, and preparing regular monthly and fortnightly forecasts.

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering, Business, Sales and Marketing, or any related field
• 4-5 years proven sales experience in a related field.
