Pre-Sales Technical Consultant

Job description

Provides technical advice and consultation to organizations, analyzes moderately complex technical problems, and develops specialized and generalized software solutions. Supports standards for operation, integration, and installation of system solutions. Defines and evaluates software, hardware, and network requirements. Works independently on projects and components while collaborating within a team. Presents recommendations and solutions in written or oral reports and guides less experienced team members. Key missions include technical consulting and support for card payment security, card personalization, profile development lifecycle, key management and solution integration; leading profile development activities, refining requirements, coordinating development, validating quality through testing and troubleshooting; providing operational support for chip personalization issues and enhancing chip validation tools; managing regional product roadmap by recommending target chip solutions, identifying product gaps and driving new product development; participating in pre-sales and customer training, acting as technical point of contact, and mentoring junior members.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent technological experience
• 3-5 years experience in technical consulting, support or implementation roles
• working knowledge of Smart Card, EMV and cryptography related technology is a plus
• desired computer skills: Java, C#, Python, Excel Macros
• innovative, self‑starting, hands‑on technology professional with analytical/conceptual skills
• organized, flexible, results‑oriented and decisive with a can‑do attitude
• ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• strong interpersonal, presentation and written communication skills.
