Job description
We are seeking an experienced IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) Technical Engineer to lead architecture, deployment, customization, and integration of MAS for enterprise clients. The role involves setting up the MAS environment on OpenShift/hybrid cloud, tailoring business logic and UI to client specifications, and integrating legacy applications and ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, SCADA, GIS) into the Maximo ecosystem. Responsibilities include planning, configuring, and maintaining core MAS components (MAS Manage, MAS Monitor, MAS Health, MAS Predict), collaborating with cloud and infrastructure teams for deployment on Red Hat OpenShift, configuring security, directory integration (LDAP/SAML/SSO), and role-based access controls. Custom business logic is implemented using Automation Scripts (Jython/Python, JavaScript), applications are customized via Maximo Application Designer, database configuration, domains, and Workflow Designer, and complex workflows are developed to match standard operating and maintenance procedures. The consultant designs and configures enterprise integrations using Maximo Integration Framework, REST APIs, JSON, and Kafka/MQ queues, integrates MAS with external systems such as ERPs, IoT/SCADA platforms, GIS (Esri), and document repositories, and plans and executes data migration and schema mapping from legacy Maximo or external systems to MAS. Testing includes unit testing, system integration testing, and supporting User Acceptance Testing, producing technical documentation (architecture designs, ICDs, runbooks), delivering client handover sessions, and providing tier‑3 technical troubleshooting during stabilization.
