Measurements Manager

Job description

The Measurements Manager leads the plant metrology function for AMP-2 Quality, ensuring accurate dimensional measurement, analysis, and feedback across body-in-white, closures, and stamping processes. Develops robust measurement strategies using body measurement systems, closures measurement, dimensional analysis, Scanbox measurement, and supports continuous improvement of dimensional quality

Requirements

• Expertise in automotive dimensional engineering including BIW, stamping, closures, assemblies, tooling, fixtures, and measurement systems
• Proficiency with Scanbox/optical measurement systems, CMMs, metrology principles, dimensional analysis, and reporting
• Proven ability to drive manufacturing improvements through data-driven analysis, root cause investigation, and corrective actions
• Effective leader with experience building high‑performing teams and coaching engineers and technicians
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration, communication, attention to detail, and ability to perform under production and launch pressures
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Quality or related)
• Master’s degree is a plus
• 10+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing with at least 7 years in OEM
• 5+ years of leadership experience
• Strong background in metrology, dimensional problem solving, and cross‑functional coordination
• Good understanding of stamping and body-in-white manufacturing processes.
