HSE Trainee (Hygiene, Safety, Environment)

Job description

The trainee is responsible for directing, developing, and implementing all environmental, health, and safety compliance programs to achieve certifications for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. Executes the company’s EHS policy locally, monitors, records, and shares health, safety, and environmental KPI data. Reduces incidents by implementing a proactive safety management system. Organizes and leads the workplace health and safety committee per local regulations. Ensures effective incident investigations and timely corrective actions. Complies with all applicable laws and policies. Ensures a safe work environment for employees, visitors, and contractors. Maintains and promotes recycling activities, exceeding CSR standards. Conducts routine risk assessments across all business areas. Displays required legal documentation. Partners with third parties for specialist audits such as fire safety, work at height, and others as required.

Requirements
