Accountant

Job description

Works in the finance function of Abdul Latif Jameel across the MENAT region. Ensures accuracy of supporting documents and processes financial transactions in coordination with finance departments. Aligns with accepted accounting principles and standards. Assists in preparing management accounts, fund flow statements and the annual budget. Manages reporting schedules and ensures quality and accuracy of reports. Coordinates monthly financial closing and analyzes income accounts. Supervises Accountant and Cashier for cash reconciliations and balance sheet control. Facilitates internal and external audit processes. Prepares corporate tax data and complies with accounting regulations. Mentors and develops associates for career progression.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in related field
