Environment, Health and Safety Supervisor

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Site EH&S Supervisor to join our team, who can manage the safety and environmental concerns of our 380kV Substation, 380kv underground cable and 380kV OHTL Project. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in EH&S, particularly in managing substation and OHTL transmission lines. The candidate should have excellent leadership skills to manage the project site by himself and should be competent in managing emergencies at the site

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering or environmental, Health and Safety or any relevant field
• NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent is a mandatory requirement
• The candidate must be well-versed and must have at least ten (10) years of experience handling EH&S issues in the substation and OHTL transmission line projects
• Must possess a deep understanding of codes, standards, and regulations concerning environmental protection, occupational health, and safety, particularly in power transmission and distribution projects
• Must have a deep understanding of incident investigations
• Excellent supervisory skills
• Being a good team player, good communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be flexible enough to work long hours and travel to remote areas to oversee the project site
• Experience in KSA would be an added advantage
• KSA/International Driving license is a must for this position
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Physically fit and able to spend a large proportion of the day on site.
