Sr. Accountant

Job description

the employer is an international company accelerating the global energy transition, providing engineering, project management, and digital solutions. Responsibilities include maintaining and updating the general ledger; managing vendor invoicing and payment approvals; tracking accounts receivable and collections; performing monthly bank, intercompany, and subsidiary reconciliations; assisting in quarterly/monthly VAT returns in compliance with ZATCA regulations; supporting month-end and year-end closing, including accruals and depreciation; preparing draft balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports; and providing documentation and analytical support for external and internal auditors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• 3 to 5 years experience as an Accountant, preferably in professional services, engineering consulting or corporate environments in Saudi Arabia
• registration with the Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA)
• progressing towards CPA, CMA or ACCA is a strong plus
