HSE Coordinator - Rig

Job description

We are seeking an experienced HSE Coordinator to support Health, Safety and Environmental activities for Oil & Gas operations in the Eastern Province. Coordinates and monitors implementation of HSE policies, procedures and project safety requirements. Ensures compliance with Saudi Aramco standards and applicable regulations. Conducts regular HSE inspections, audits and site safety assessments. Identifies unsafe acts, conditions and hazards and recommends corrective actions. Supports Permit to Work, Job Safety Analysis and risk assessment processes. Participates in incident investigations, root cause analysis and follow‑up of corrective actions. Prepares HSE reports, inspection reports, incident reports and safety performance records. Organizes and conducts safety inductions, toolbox talks, HSE awareness sessions and training programs. Monitors proper use of PPE and critical HSE equipment. Attends safety meetings and communicates alerts, lessons learned and safety initiatives. Follows up on audit findings and non‑conformances to ensure timely closure. Promotes a proactive safety culture and encourages reporting of unsafe acts and conditions. Coordinates with project management, supervisors, contractors and client representatives on HSE matters. Monitors environmental compliance, waste management, spill prevention and other environmental protection requirements

Requirements

• Organize and participate in emergency response drills
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science or related field
• Minimum 5+ years of HSE experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy, Construction, Drilling or industrial projects
• Experience in rig/drilling or non‑rig oil & gas operations
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Aramco HSE requirements, standards and procedures
• NEBOSH IGC certification preferred
• Additional certifications such as IOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001, First Aid, H2S, Confined Space or Fire Safety advantageous
• Proficient in written and spoken English
• Strong reporting, documentation, communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently in field and operational environments
