Senior Project Management Consultant (SAP)

Job description

The Senior SAP PM Consultant is responsible for analyzing, evaluating, enhancing, and supporting business systems and processes that enable asset integrity, maintenance, inspection, and operational excellence across the organization. The role serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business requirements are translated into effective system solutions that improve operational efficiency, data integrity, and decision-making. Key Responsibilities • Analyze business requirements and recommend system improvements and automation solutions. • Support, enhance, and optimize SAP PM and related asset management systems. • Develop Power BI dashboards and business reports. • Coordinate with business users, IT teams, and vendors to deliver system enhancements. • Lead workshops, document requirements, and support testing and deployment activities. • Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with company standards. Preferred Certifications • SAP S/4HANA Asset Management (PM) • SAP BTP • SAP Fiori Associate • Microsoft Power BI (PL-300) • PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile • NACE/AMPP, API 510/570/653, or ISO 55000 Skills • Stakeholder Management • Project Management • Problem Solving & Troubleshooting • Data Governance • Communication & Documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience on Saudi Aramco projects is preferred
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Utilities, or Industrial sectors

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM), including

• Experience with custom SAP developments and integrations
• Strong knowledge of ABAP, OData, CDS Views, Workflow, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, BADIs, and BAPIs
• Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5, SAP BTP, and RAP developments
• Data & Analytics
• Advanced Power BI development and reporting experience
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction, validation, and reporting
• Industrial Systems
• Experience with PI System (OSIsoft) or similar industrial data historians
• Understanding of ETL processes and integration between operational and enterprise systems
• Business Systems Analysis
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, solution design, testing, and system implementation
• Ability to manage system enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate end-to-end resolution
• Digital & Emerging Technologies
• Knowledge of AI/ML applications for predictive maintenance and asset integrity
