HVAC / Fire Protection Engineer - Buildings/Residential Projects

Job description

the employer is seeking a qualified HVAC / Fire Protection Engineer to join our team working on Buildings and Residential Projects in Saudi Arabia. The role involves designing, reviewing, and overseeing the installation of HVAC and fire protection systems to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with relevant codes and standards. The engineer will collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated solutions that meet project specifications and client requirements. The engineer will also participate in site inspections, risk assessments, and ensure all systems function optimally within building environments. The work location is onsite in Saudi Arabia.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 7 to 10 years experience in mechanical engineering principles
• Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in HVAC or fire protection systems for building/residential projects
• Demonstrated experience in mechanical system design, installation, and testing for HVAC or fire protection
• Knowledge of cost estimation and procurement processes for mechanical projects (preferred)
• Experience in technical report writing and documentation
• Strong knowledge of HVAC design principles and fire protection codes and standards applicable in Saudi Arabia
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Familiarity with local and international building codes and regulations
• Professional certifications in HVAC and/or fire protection engineering (advantageous)
