Deburring & Marking Technician

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Deburring & Marking Technician to perform deburring, surface finishing, and part marking on machined and fabricated components. The candidate will ensure components meet quality standards by removing burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections while accurately marking parts according to engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• technical or vocational training in mechanical or manufacturing disciplines is an advantage
• minimum 2-5 years experience in deburring and marking of machined or fabricated components in manufacturing, fabrication, oil & gas, or heavy engineering environments
• experience using deburring tools, grinders, files, rotary tools, and polishing equipment
• knowledge of part marking methods such as stamping, engraving, vibro-etching, or laser marking
• ability to read engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications
• familiarity with measuring instruments such as vernier calipers and micrometers
• strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• good understanding of workplace safety and housekeeping practices
