A valid professional registration from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties. Practical experience in the field of intensive care. Experience in dealing with critical and emergency cases. Proficiency in handling intensive care devices and equipment. Ability to handle cases requiring Intubation and Airway Management. About this profession: Manage the provision of care to patients suffering from critical conditions and surgery patients; monitor the patients; treat the harmful interactions or complications; check the patients; and review their medical history to identify the appropriate procedure of critical care. Typical duties of this profession: • Admit the patients to the critical care unit; check the patients; review their medical history; and deal with the condition-associated risks or such risks occurring during surgeries or medical procedures. • follow up the necessary care and treatment plan; follow up and guide the nurse specialists on how to administer medications. • Undertake the inspection tours for critical conditions; follow the developments; and contact with the specialists when needed to ensure that the conditions is stabilized. • Maintain the technical expertise, update the knowledge on a continuous basis, study the specialized publications, and participate in the training courses and conferences. • Prepare, and keep in the corresponding data base, the patient’s medical documents and reports, in accordance with the regulating policy and procedures
