Job description

Act as a liaison between patients and their families at the dialysis center to provide psychosocial support, assess needs, and coordinate services. Responsibilities include managing case files, drafting accurate reports, and communicating effectively with relevant stakeholders to enhance patient experience and facilitate their treatment journey About this profession: Social workers are practice-based professionals who promote social change and development, social cohesion, and the empowerment and liberation of people. They interact with individuals, families, groups, organisations and communities in order to provide various forms of therapy and counselling, group work, and community work. Social workers guide people to use services to claim benefits, access community resources, find jobs and training, obtain legal advice or deal with other local authority departments. Typical duties of this profession: • Study and analyze the specialized experiences and practices in the social work field as well as the possibility of utilizing them, prepare and discuss recommendations and proposals to adopt the best modern methods and practices, and clarify how to apply them. • Conduct various social studies, analyses and surveys to identify the needs; detect the social challenges and problems; and produce the recommendations. • Determine the necessary information and data sources about the various social situations; and select the best ways, tools and methods to ensure that these information and data are collected, organized, managed and analyzed. • Provide an advice on dealing with problems, such as unemployment, poverty, addiction, criminality and abuse; develop specialized programs to solve each of these problems in a scientific and systematic way; and ensure their effectiveness. • Prepare researches and reports on the social situation and cases in houses and centers; propose and submit improvement, reform and development plans to the direct supervisor; and ensure that they are kept on their relevant database, according to the followed policies and procedures

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience in counseling or case management
• Bachelor's degree in social work or sociology
• Proficiency in Arabic
