Job description

the employer Heavy Steel Industries Co. Ltd announces a Safety Officer position in Riyadh. The role involves applying occupational health and safety principles and hazard prevention procedures, conducting field inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations, preparing safety reports, documenting observations, and following up on corrective actions, communicating with and guiding field teams, identifying hazards and managing operational situations per approved safety procedures, and complying with regulations in high‑discipline operational environments

Requirements

• Diploma degree (mandatory)
• OSHA certification in occupational health and safety (mandatory)
• NEBOSH certification in occupational health and safety (mandatory)
• 1 to 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer
• solid knowledge of occupational health and safety principles and hazard prevention
• familiarity with field inspection, risk assessment, and incident investigation procedures
• preferred knowledge of safety requirements for industrial, construction projects, and steel structures
• ability to prepare safety reports, document observations, and track corrective actions
• strong communication, coaching, and field team handling skills
• ability to identify hazards and manage operational situations according to approved safety procedures
• commitment to regulations and ability to work in highly disciplined safety environments
