Manager - Cadastral Survey

Job description

Plays a pivotal role in planning and executing cadastral surveying activities for the employer to ensure accurate definition and maintenance of land boundaries, ownership, and property rights. Manages all cadastral survey activities ensuring accuracy and legal compliance; supervises field survey teams, coordinating fieldwork and data collection to meet project timelines; analyzes and interprets survey data to produce detailed reports, maps, and boundary determinations; collaborates with planning, engineering, and development teams to provide insights on land use, zoning, and property rights; ensures surveying equipment is maintained, calibrated, and updated per best practices; develops and implements improved survey methodologies for greater efficiency; fully competent in land and strata subdivision and consolidations; experienced in producing and assessing 3D volumetric strata plans; manages cadastral spatial data; audits private cadastral survey engineering firms; maintains comprehensive records of survey data, reports, and correspondence; engages with external stakeholders such as local authorities and landowners on cadastral matters; utilizes Python and PowerBI programming languages

Requirements

• Fully knowledgeable on cadastral field operations and processes with experience in QA/QC and cadastral deliverables assessment
• advanced knowledge of cadastral software packages and databases (Parcel Fabric, Open Cities, TBC)
• BSc in Land Surveying or higher
• MSc in real estate/property valuation is an advantage
• 5+ years experience in cadastral surveying and land management
• proficiency in surveying and GIS software (e.g., Trimble Business Center, Parcel Fabric)
• experience with geospatial databases and managing the private surveying sector
• strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• fluent in Arabic and English.
