Job description

An architect implements and designs architectural plans and coordinates works of art or architecture. Duties include preparing and reviewing implementation drawings, preparing bill of quantities and quantities, using Revit and AutoCAD software, communicating with project teams, and ensuring adherence to technical and implementation standards. Profession overview: Architects study, design and supervise the construction and development of buildings, urban spaces, infrastructure projects and social spaces. They are designed according to their surrounding environments and regulations applicable in specific geographic areas, taking into account factors that include function, aesthetics, costs, and overall health and safety. They are aware of social contexts and environmental factors that include relationships between people, buildings, buildings and the environment. They participate in multidisciplinary projects aiming to develop the social fabric of a geographical area and advance social urban projects. Typical tasks for this profession: • Develop designs for construction projects and manage the design team in selecting materials and developing specifications. • Preparing mock-ups, drawings and digital models. • Assist in selecting contractors and selecting materials. • Providing support for construction projects, and directly implementing the design by the contractor. • Prepare documents and reports specialized in engineering works and projects and their progress rates, display them, clarify them, and save them in their database in accordance with approved policies and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in architecture or architecture
• Maximum relevant work experience
• Having a valid professional accreditation from the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) - a prerequisite
• Proficiency in using Revit and AutoCAD at an advanced level
• Good knowledge of preparing and reviewing Shop Drawings, BOQ and Quantity Take-Off
• Knowledge of architectural plans, technical details, implementation and construction requirements
• Strong communication, organization and teamwork skills
• Analyze problems to come up with opportunities
• Interpretation of technical requirements
• Architecture laws
