As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you not only ensure the upkeep and cleanliness of the hotel, but you spread the light and warmth of hospitality by providing memorable experiences that make every guest's stay. Here's what you'll do during a general day: · Supervise the Janitorial Service Team: Train and establish a work schedule for individuals on the team and provide supervision to them to ensure cleanliness and quality standards in guest rooms · Conduct room and area inspections: Perform routine room checks upon checkout, spontaneous inspections of occupied rooms, and review service areas, storage, and hallways to ensure standards of cleanliness and maintenance · Coordinate Maintenance Needs: Report and fast-track any maintenance issues or facility concerns · Special Projects Supervision: Schedule and oversee periodic deep cleaning and special initiatives for the Janitorial Service · Manage inventory and Equipment: Maintaining stock levels and ensuring proper maintenance of janitorial equipment · Delighting our guests: Ensuring excellent service, including VIP and special requests

Requirements

• · Experience supervising a janitorial service team and setting work schedules · Ability to train staff and ensure adherence to cleanliness and quality standards · Conduct routine and spontaneous inspections of rooms and common areas · Coordinate and follow up on facility-related maintenance issues · Supervise periodic deep cleaning projects and special initiatives · Manage equipment inventory and ensure it is appropriately maintained
