Job Description We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Engineer to lead our engineering operations. In this pivotal leadership role, you will drive technical excellence, strategic innovation, and operational efficiency across all engineering functions. You will oversee a talented team, establish engineering standards, and ensure our organization maintains the highest levels of safety, compliance, and performance. As Chief Engineer, you will be instrumental in shaping our engineering vision and delivering results that directly impact our business success. - Provide strategic leadership and direction for all engineering operations, maintenance, and technical initiatives - Develop and implement comprehensive engineering strategies aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices - Oversee daily operations and ensure strict team compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and all applicable regulatory requirements - Direct maintenance, repairs, and optimization of building systems, infrastructure, interiors, exteriors, and guest-facing areas - Execute, monitor, and continuously optimize the organization's preventive maintenance program to maximize asset longevity and minimize downtime - Manage departmental budgets, control expenses, and contribute to strategic financial planning and annual operating budget forecasts - Develop, deliver, and oversee comprehensive training programs that build technical expertise and ensure professional standards across the engineering team - Conduct regular departmental meetings to communicate strategic updates, address operational challenges, and foster collaborative problem-solving - Ensure unwavering adherence to all fire, life safety, emergency procedures, and re Typical duties of this profession: • Manage projects according to contract requirements and employer procedures. • Ensure implementation of health, safety, and quality policies. • Provide leadership and guidance to contractor and consultant teams to improve efficiency. • Effectively manage contracts and follow up on regular reports and payments

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or related) or equivalent qualification
• minimum 5 years progressive experience in engineering operations, maintenance management or senior technical role
• advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• excellent proficiency in English (written and verbal)
• strong strategic planning and visionary thinking
• experience in budget management and financial analysis
• comprehensive knowledge of safety protocols, building codes and regulatory compliance
