Quality Assurance Engineer

In this role, you will collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to validate features, report issues, and ensure that our apps and services meet the highest quality standards. You will contribute to our QA activities across manual and automated testing, participate in Agile celebrations, and help improve how features are tested and delivered. Responsibilities: Collaborate with product and engineering teams to test features and report issues clearly and efficiently. Execute manual test cases and support the development of automated tests across mobile and back-end platforms. Validate features during sprints and contribute to regression and exploratory testing cycles. Document bugs and test results in Jira with clarity and context. Participate in sprint planning and backlog preparation to provide a quality assurance perspective. Support QA team initiatives to improve test coverage and reduce bug leakage. Use tools like Firebase, the employer, and Postman to validate backend behavior, error rates, and application stability. Follow and contribute to quality assurance processes across the product life cycle. Experience in software quality assurance or similar role. Familiarity with Agile software development and testing practices. Experience testing mobile applications (iOS and Android) and back-end APIs. The ability to write T Bug reports and test documentation are clear and concise. Basic understanding of test automation tools and CI/CD pipelines. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a team-first mentality. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Fluency in Arabic and good English. Skills good to have: Exposure to automation frameworks (e.g. Appium, Postman, Cypress). AI-Assisted Testing: Familiarity with AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Cloud, GitHub Copilot) to support test case generation, exploratory testing, test data generation, and bug analysis. Interest in quality assurance, automation, and emerging AI-driven tools that improve testing efficiency and software quality. Knowledge of quality assurance metrics and reporting tools.
