Academic Science Teacher Grade: 6 Location: Dhahran, Saudi Arabia Job Purpose the employer is the prime contractor nominated by the UK Government under established government-to-government arrangements to provide equipment, support and training to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of Academic Sciences (AS) at the Technical Institute for Marine Studies (TINS). Specifically, AS Instructors are expected to teach principles of public health and safety in the engineering environment, mathematics, engineering science, and units for the City & Guilds 2850 curriculum. Job Responsibilities Deliver the NTT Academic Science curriculum. Support monitoring activities for evaluations. Supporting therapeutic training activities. Writing evaluation materials. Support continuous improvement of educational materials and media. Write trainee reports as required to meet customer requirements. The position holder is expected to operate to standards of absolute integrity and professionalism. The post holder will ensure that any other reasonable request is completed by the AS Senior Trainer, which is consistent with the company's business. Employment specifications: Bachelor's degree in scientific specialty or Engineering. Teaching qualification such as BEd, PGCE or government recognition as a teacher. Recent experience teaching mathematics, science, or engineering. Have a minimum IELTS overall score of 5.0 with Speaking and Listening band scores of 5.0 for non-native English speakers. Desirable to possess extensive knowledge of C&G and/or EASA regulatory compliance requirements and associated privileges. Understanding of large corporate practices and procedures is preferred. Ability to multi-task, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
