Join Our Team About This Opportunity We are looking for a BO Transport Engineer to join our team and support the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of transport and IP network infrastructure. You will play a key role in ensuring network performance and service availability through second-line technical support, network configuration, incident resolution and collaboration with cross-functional teams. What You'll Do • Perform comprehensive second-line troubleshooting across IP and transport networks, including routers, switches, MPLS environments and transport nodes. • Manage incident, problem and configuration activities to maintain network performance and stability. • Support related transmission outages and service degradation investigations. • Configure, install, maintain and upgrade network devices and services. • Conduct node acceptance, audits, and network health assessments. • Collaborate with field teams, access, operations, and third parties to resolve complex issues. • Follow up on transmission design issues and support implementation activities. • Open and manage escalation processes with third-line support when needed. • Review and verify transmission-related network changes and activities. • Participate in technical investigations, analysis sessions and continuous improvement initiatives. Skills You Bring • 1 to 4 years of experience in transportation network operations, support, or troubleshooting. • Knowledge of IP networking concepts and protocols. • Experience with Cisco routers and switches. • Experience troubleshooting transport technologies and network nodes And fix it. • Hands-on experience with the employer transmission solutions such as Mini-Link TN, Mini-Link 6600, Mini-Link 6352, R6000, and SIU/TCU is an advantage. • Understand configuration, incident, problem and change management processes. • Experience using network management and monitoring tools. • Telecommunications industry experience preferred. • Basic scripting knowledge or automation experience is a plus. • Cisco and/or the employer networking certifications preferred. • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform under pressure. • Strong attention to detail, accountability, and customer-focused mindset. • Willingness to work flexible hours, shift rotation, and on-call support when needed. • Collaborative attitude with a passion for continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
