In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee all accounting operations and serve as a strategic financial partner to senior management. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical accounting expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. * Oversee and manage all daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, fixed asset management, and bank reconciliations. * Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and Saudi regulatory requirements. * Ensure full compliance with Saudi tax regulations, statutory reporting obligations, and internal financial policies. * Direct and manage month-end and year-end closing processes with meticulous attention to detail and efficiency. * Cash flow monitoring and analysis Budgets and tracks financial performance to support informed business decision making. * Coordinate internal and external audits, respond to audit findings, and implement corrective actions transparently. * Develop, implement and maintain strong internal controls to protect company assets and ensure financial accuracy Review journal entries, account reconciliations and financial reports to ensure accuracy and completeness * Supervise, direct and evaluate accounting staff and promote professional development and high performance standards * Support the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts, providing analytical insights to guide strategic planning * Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and implement best practices that enhance organizational efficiency * Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams by providing comprehensive financial analysis and strategic recommendations * Ensure regulatory compliance with all applicable financial regulations and company policies## Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field * Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent qualification (preferred) * Saudi Certified Public Accountant (SCBA) or equivalent Saudi regulatory qualification * Minimum progressive accounting experience in increasingly responsible roles * At least 3 years of proven experience in a supervisory or management accounting position * Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, taxation and internal control frameworks * Proven experience in ERP systems and software platforms Modern Accounting * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools * Strong understanding of accounting standards and regulations Tax and statutory reporting requirements in Saudi Arabia * Demonstrated ability to effectively manage month-end and year-end closes * Experience coordinating internal and external audits and managing audit responses * Excellent leadership and team management skills with a proven track record of developing accounting professionals * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights * Exceptional organizational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail * Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities * Experience in strategic financial planning and forecasting * Demonstrated commitment to transparency, compliance and ethical financial practices ## Additional Information Your Team and Work Environment: In two sentences, present the team, property, or office environment in a way that reflects the culture Note: Personalization may be included for any specific local or legislative requirements, such as work permits.
