### Industry: Banking and Financial Services ### Role Overview We are looking for a **highly experienced Solutions Architect** with a strong background in **Banking and Financial Services**, broad exposure to the **Gulf region**, and deep experience in **enterprise architecture, integration, cloud, and middleware technologies**. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in translating complex business requirements into scalable, secure, high-performance technology solutions, while working closely with business and technical stakeholders across large enterprise environments. ### Key Responsibilities * Design and lead **comprehensive solution architecture** for large-scale banking and financial systems * Define **high-level, detailed architecture models** spanning application, integration, data and infrastructure layers * Lead architecture decisions for **core banking, payments, digital channels, APIs and integration platforms** * Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into **robust technology solutions** * Ensure solutions align with **enterprise architecture standards, security, scalability and performance requirements** * Lead and manage ** API-led architectures and microservices-based ** * Oversee delivery of solutions via ** full SDLC **, ensuring quality, timelines and architectural compliance * Support and guide development, DevOps and operations teams during implementation * Participate in architecture reviews, technical governance and stakeholder presentations * Work within ** Agile/SAFe environments **, supporting multiple teams and cross-functional teams ** Requirements ** ### Skills and Experience Required * Bachelor's degree in ** Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field ** * ** 15+ years of experience ** in solution architecture and enterprise systems design * Strong ** Banking experience ** (core banking, payments, digital banking, financial platforms) * Proven experience working in ** Gulf region (Saudi Arabia/GCC) ** * Deep experience in: * ** Enterprise integration and middleware ** * ** API management and interface security Application Programming ** * ** Microservices Architecture ** * ** Cloud Platforms (AWS / Azure) ** * ** Containers and Kubernetes ** * Strong ** understanding of enterprise-scale distributed systems ** * Experience working with ** multi-tiered, high-availability, mission-critical systems** * Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage **technical and non-technical stakeholders** ### Certifications (mandatory / strongly preferred) * **AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate** * **TOGAF 9.2 Certified (Basic or top)** * **Kubernetes / Cloud Native Certification (CNCF)** * **DevOps Architecture Certification** * **API Design and API Security Certifications** * **Micros mostly Azure (AI or Cloud) Fundamentals**
