Job description

Location: Dammam, Saudi Arabia - On-site Reports To: Director Middle East Operations Who We Are At the employer we believe that every person, regardless of their industry, company size, experience, or budget, should have the tools and support to help their facilities operate more efficiently, reliably, and safely. We do this by providing a portfolio of ultrasound solutions designed to be versatile and simple to use. Since 1973, we have helped thousands of customers across the world prevent equipment failures, identify energy losses, and return home safe to their families. We are continuing to grow as we build a more disciplined, globally connected operating system to support our customers and our next stage of growth. About the Role We are seeking a Saudi National Calibration Technician to support our service operations from our newly established, on-site office in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, and test precision ultrasonic instrumentation, ensuring every product meets the employer' quality standards before it is returned to our customers. Your work will directly support our commitment to delivering reliable products and exceptional customer service throughout the Middle East. This position is ideal for a certified technician who enjoys hands-on technical work, takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality results, and is committed to providing exceptional customer service. As our dedicated technical resource in Saudi Arabia, you will work with a high degree of independence, managing your own workload, prioritizing competing demands, and ensuring repairs and calibrations are completed efficiently while meeting established quality and service turnaround expectations. The successful candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, organized, and self-motivated, with strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while consistently delivering an exceptional customer experience. To support your success, you will travel to the employer' headquarters in the Netherlands for approximately two weeks of hands-on technical training at the start of your employment. During this training, you will learn the employer' products, calibration procedures, repair techniques, quality standards, and service processes before returning to provide local technical support throughout the Middle East. As the first Calibration Technician based in our Saudi Arabia office, you will play an important role in expanding the employer' regional service capabilities. While working independently on a day-to-day basis, you will be supported by our experienced global service organization and will follow the proven standards, processes, and best practices established across the employer. Our People They Own Their Day: We do not micro-manage. Our team understands the outcome, makes disciplined decisions, and communicates early when priorities, risks, or constraints change. They Believe in a Team Approach: No one is expected to be a master of everything. We rely on each other, bring different strengths to the table, and build better systems together. They Always Look Through a Customer Lens: Every process we build should make it easier to serve the customer accurately, reliably, and on time. Your Impact • Perform calibration, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of the employer' precision ultrasonic instrumentation. • Diagnose faults in analogue and digital printed circuit boards, electronic components, and electro-mechanical assemblies. • Perform soldering, component replacement, and mechanical assembly/disassembly as required. • Operate electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, power supplies, and signal generators, to diagnose and verify equipment performance. • Complete calibrations and repairs in accordance with the employer' quality standards, technical procedures, and service documentation. • Manage assigned repairs and calibrations independently while consistently meeting established quality and service turnaround expectations. • Coordinate the shipping, receiving, and tracking of customer equipment and repair parts for domestic and international shipments. • Maintain inventory of repair parts, calibration equipment, tools, and service consumables. • Ensure the service area, tools, and equipment are maintained in a clean, organized, and safe condition. • Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams regarding repair status, service updates, and technical questions. • Represent the employer professionally by delivering exceptional technical service and customer support throughout the Middle East. • Follow all company quality, safety, and operational procedures. Your Experience • Understanding of analogue and digital printed circuit boards, electronic components, and mechanical assemblies. • Experience operating electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, power supplies, and signal generators. • Saudi Nationality Required: Applicants must be Saudi nationals to be eligible for this position. Nice to Have • Experience working within a manufacturing, technical service, or international business environment. • Experience coordinating domestic and international shipping and receiving. • Experience working with a CRM (HubSpot preferred) and/or ERP or inventory management system.
