Job description

Applicants must have experience in direct comprehensive patient care including treatment planning, restorative dentistry, prosthodontic treatment planning, and outcomes assessment. Preference will be for applicants with extensive experience in digital dentistry. Experience in dental education including course directorship and teaching in restorative dentistry with predoctoral teaching and didactic and clinical teaching experience is preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with an established didactic and clinical teaching record and/or with a current faculty position at a dental school. Responsibilities will include didactic teaching to predoctoral and postgraduate students, provide direct supervision of comprehensive patient care in the predoctoral and postgraduate clinics, course directorship, and other administrative duties as needed. Preference will also be for applicants who can practice in intramural or extramural clinics operated by the dental school Candidate will be expected to participate in assigned Committees. Candidate expected to conduct research and supervise undergraduate students. Student in Dental ASsistance Department and other department as per needs. Teach courses of specialty to higher-education students, evaluate student performance, conduct respective researches and studies, prepare and save documents and reports related to students’ performance, achievement and progress.

Typical duties of this profession:

• Prepare the theoretical lessons’ plan, design, select and utilize the effective educational techniques, choose teaching methods of the theoretical subject, give lectures in the respective specialty, and participate in executing the plan of studies and researches.

• Prepare practical applied plans, and make practical observations on the applied aspects of course.

• Design tools and methods for measuring the progress of students performance, and evaluate their achievement.

• Develop the teaching methods and procedures; and keep up with the scientific and technical developments in the field of specialty.

• Prepare reports and documents related to students' performance and academic achievement and keeping them in its own database
