Customer Assistance Technician Location: - - Department: Purpose Provide on-site quality support for manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with customer specifications, applicable standards, and internal quality requirements. The role is responsible for supporting product release activities, coordinating inspections, and verifying effective implementation of quality control processes throughout the production line. Key Responsibilities • Provide on-site quality support to production operations, ensuring products meet quality and customer requirements prior to release. • Prepare products, materials and quality documentation for customer and third party inspections. • Implement, monitor and verify quality control plans (QCPs) in accordance with established standards, customer specifications, and internal procedures. • Ensure production activities comply with quality requirements specified during customer pre-inspection meetings. • Conduct inspections and review quality records to verify product conformity and traceability. • Support the investigation and resolution of quality deviations and non-conformities. • Work closely with production, operations and quality teams to maintain product quality and support continuous improvement initiatives. • Interact with customers, inspectors and third party representatives during inspection and issuance activities. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, Engineering Industrial engineering, or any related engineering specialty. • Experience in quality control, quality assurance, or manufacturing quality within an industrial environment. • Steel fabrication experience strongly preferred. • Experience in pipe manufacturing (seamless or welded pipes) is a major advantage. • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, inspection techniques, quality control systems, and applicable industry standards. • Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, drawings, and quality documents. • Professional proficiency in the English language, both written and spoken. • Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
