Machine Operator

Job description

Responsible for preparing and operating the machine according to Job Factory Ticket and PCC. Requests raw materials for the next job, sets up and configures the machine, troubleshoots issues and reports major ones to the Team Leader. Provides start‑up samples for quality checks. Completes production reports and monitors the printing process continuously. Checks finished product size, print registration, repeatability, color matching and visual defects. Supplies roll samples to QC and reports any defects. Notifies maintenance of breakdowns or damage. Achieves KPI targets and assigns tasks to helpers. Fills and signs roll/pallet labels. Maintains machine and area cleanliness per 5S cycle chart. Signs production reports, RM/ORM requests, Job Factory Ticket, QC control sheet, start‑up sheet and viscosity sheet.

Requirements

• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills acquired through primary school
• Technical Diploma
• Controlling operations of equipment or systems
• Watching gauges, dials or indicators to ensure proper machine operation
• Determining tools and equipment needed for the job
• Conducting tests and inspections of products to evaluate quality or performance
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and techniques for effective manufacturing
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including design, use, repair and maintenance
• Ability to listen to and understand spoken information and ideas
• Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing
• Ability to work alternating shifts
• Ability to work under high stress environment.
