About the Role The Project Delivery Engineer (HVAC Projects) is based and responsible for the end-to-end delivery of HVAC projects across the central region of Saudi Arabia. This includes chiller replacements, retrofit works, VRV system supply and installation, and complete turnkey solutions. The role owns the full project life cycle from sales delivery through planning, implementation, monitoring and control, financial governance, commissioning and closure to ensure delivery is on time, on budget, compliant with contractual obligations and compliant with quality, health, safety and environmental standards. How you will make an impact You will drive the transformation and delivery of project work across Saudi Arabia by driving operational excellence, enhancing governance and ensuring timely and profitable project delivery across the following areas: Project Launch and Initiation • Verification of project scope, specifications, commercial terms and contractual commitments received from sales. • Identify key risks, assumptions, limitations, and mitigation strategies at the outset. • Lead internal and external project kickoff meetings to align all stakeholders. • Establish clear project goals, success criteria, and communication protocols. Planning and Implementation • Develop and manage integrated project implementation plans covering schedule, resources, procurement, cash flow, and cost baselines. • Coordinate with engineering, design, procurement and logistics teams to ensure complete project readiness and alignment. • Review technical submissions, method statements, and compliance documentation to ensure project implementation standards are met. • Lead site execution of HVAC projects (chillers, VRV systems, retrofits, turnkey solutions) while managing subcontractors and ensuring adherence to scope, quality and timelines. • Ensure strict compliance with HSE standards and maintain proactive coordination with clients, consultants and stakeholders to resolve issues and prevent delays. Monitoring and Control • Tracking progress is not basic timelines and milestones. • Monitor cost performance, variations, and change orders. • Produce accurate and timely progress reports, dashboards, and forecasts. • Identify deviations early and implement corrective and preventive actions. Financial supervision of the project • Financial performance of the project, including budget preparation, Forecasting, cost control, and margin protection. • Manage payments, changes, and claims while ensuring alignment with contractual and profitability goals. Testing, Commissioning and Delivery • Supervise the testing and commissioning of HVAC systems, including chillers and VRV systems. • Ensure systems meet design intent, operational performance and customer requirements. • Lead final inspections, closeouts, and stakeholder approvals. • Ensure complete and accurate delivery documentation (as-built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, warranties). • Securing formal client acceptance and project closure. Post-Implementation Review • Conduct structured project closure reviews that focus on performance, risk, and financial results. • Capture lessons learned and institutional best practices. • Support service teams during the defect liability period (DLP). • Enhance customer relationships to enable repeat business and long-term partnerships. What you need to succeed • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. • Minimum 5 years of experience Experience implementing HVAC projects, with strong exposure to chillers and VRV systems. • Proven experience in delivering turnkey HVAC projects in Saudi Arabia or GCC markets. • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, especially VRV technologies and central station solutions. • Strong knowledge of project management frameworks (e.g., PMI principles) and implementation tools. • Project management certification (e.g., PMP or equivalent) preferred. • Proven acumen Finance with experience in cost control, margin management, and contract management. • Strong technical analysis and problem solving skills to support site implementation and resolve day-to-day project issues. • Ability to effectively coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple tasks, submissions, and site activities. • Good commercial awareness, with an understanding of cost implications, use of materials, and efficient use of resources. • Adhere to quality, compliance, health, safety and environmental standards, ensuring adherence to project specifications, regulatory requirements, and safe working practices on site. • Hands-on experience in preparing progress reports, preparing documents, and supporting meetings. • Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
