Landscape Engineer

Job description

Overview: the employer is seeking a qualified Landscape Engineer with over 9 years of on‑site experience in stadium projects within the mixed‑use/building/infra sector. The role ensures construction activities comply with project specifications, quality standards and safety regulations. Responsibilities: review and check all landscape shop drawings; approve material submittals and method statements submitted by the contractor; provide solutions using SketchUp modeling; coordinate and inspect the site; respond to inspection requests from the contractor promptly; maintain daily activity records including progress photos; prepare site instructions for deficiencies and issue non‑conformance reports when required.

Requirements

• Degree qualified in landscaping, preferably with a professional affiliation
• 12+ years relevant experience in landscape/horticulture site supervision, documentation and implementation
• proficient in reviewing shop drawings and approving material submittals and method statements
• proficient in SketchUp modeling
• excellent written and spoken English communication skills
• capable of working independently or leading a small discipline‑specific team
• knowledge of Middle East environment
• ability to maintain site records and prepare deficiency reports.
