Mechanic Technician (M005-ESG)

Job description

Performs preventive/predictive maintenance and repair of various mechanical equipment at the assigned location under broad direction. Assists in supervising other technicians and prioritizes or assigns work as needed. Possesses advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting knowledge. Conducts advanced function testing to verify equipment readiness after maintenance. Must be proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical schematics, drawings, and prints. Identifies correct parts and locates them for accurate spare procurement. Ensures accurate data entry and maintenance in the the employer&aposs system. Follows detailed work processes within the the employer Management System (HMS) daily. Mentors junior technicians and ensures tasks are performed safely, efficiently, and effectively

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years experience in related mechanical fields
• advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• proficient in reading mechanical schematics and drawings
• ability to identify correct parts and procure spares
• proficient in data entry and maintenance in the employer&aposs system
• knowledge of the employer Management System (HMS) processes
• experience mentoring junior technicians
• ability to work safely and efficiently
